Talon Hiring Solutions is seeking a motivated, results-driven Recruiter to join our growing team in Birmingham, AL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying top talent, and connecting qualified candidates with opportunities across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. *Must be located in the greater Birmingham, AL area* What You’ll Do: Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels. Review resumes and conduct phone screens to assess candidates’ experience, qualifications, communication skills, and interest. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities. Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements, priorities, and candidate expectations. Present qualified candidates to clients with concise, professional summaries highlighting relevant experience and qualifications. Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Manage multiple open positions while prioritizing recruiting activities to meet placement goals and client deadlines. Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and pipeline updates in the applicant tracking system. Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and follow-through. Develop an understanding of client needs, industry trends, and local talent markets. What You’ll Bring: 2+ years in recruiting, staffing or high volume recruiting experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively screen candidates and evaluate qualifications against job requirements. A proactive approach to sourcing, networking, and building candidate relationships. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Experienced using recruiting technology, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, Indeed and other sourcing tools A collaborative mindset, professional demeanor, and desire to contribute to team success.
