Mechanical Engineer

Description The Mechanical Engineer works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, contributing to the mechanical design process and conducting detailed analyses of mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging. Tasks and Responsibilities Document designs with drawings, specifications, and bill of materials list. Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging. Input drawings and design packages into the PLM system and release via the ECO process. Conduct design reviews and post‑mortem analysis of designs. Generate manufacturing assembly procedures and drawings. Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved company practices. Manage projects with minimal guidance. Work independently with minimal supervision. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications BSME or equivalent work experience, or a combination of education and experience, required. 1-3 years of engineering or related work experience required. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, ProE, or other design package experience required (SolidWorks preferred). Microsoft Office Suite expertise; exceptional Excel skills mandatory. Knowledge of the design process and ability to apply comprehensive engineering knowledge. Ability to interact with internal and external customers. Ability to exercise discretion and good independent judgment in all duties and responsibilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
