Mechanical Engineer 3 - HVAC & Plumbing

Job Summary Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Mechanical Engineer and provide scoping, design, design coordination/reviews, and facilitate the construction, remodel, or replacement of HVAC, controls, plumbing (water & waste), fire alarm and detection systems, engine generators and fuel systems on all facilities including Substations, Control Houses, Relay Houses, remote Radio Buildings, Maintenance Headquarters, Control Centers and miscellaneous support buildings. This position is located in Vancouver, Washington. This is a 2‑year plus consultant position with a high probability of long‑term and ongoing employment. The role is full‑time, onsite in Vancouver, WA, with five days per week on site. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $58.00 to $62.00 depending on qualifications. Responsibilities Escort Architectural & Engineering (A&E) firms and outside construction contractors to prepare assessments and surveys, conduct bid tours, and coordinate engineering services. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (from an ABET accredited school), Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or a directly related field. 10 years of engineering experience. Knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system. Experience with codes & standards (NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, UPC). Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software including Word, Blue Beam, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Valid U.S. Driver's License or Real ID. Preferred PE License.
