We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with at least 10 years of metal fabrication experience in a job shop setting, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication processes, stick, tig, flux core/mig, and plasma cutting. You will work primarily in our shop, fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW techniques on various materials, including Stainless and aluminum.
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment to shape and prepare metal components for assembly.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure and cut materials accurately using tools such as micrometers and other measuring devices.
• Assemble metal structures and components, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder or fabricator in a construction or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding techniques and plasma cutting operations.
• Familiarity with reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while taking initiative when needed.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed.
