Dispatch Coordinator

Customer Service Representative / Dispatch Coordinator Able Construction Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Dispatch Coordinator to support daily operations by managing customer calls, coordinating technician schedules, and assisting with administrative and project support functions. This role is ideal for someone with experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or service coordination within the construction, facilities, HVAC, fire protection, or related service industries. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for customers and field personnel, helping ensure service requests are handled efficiently and operations run smoothly. Responsibilities include: Answer and manage high-volume inbound customer calls (approximately 50-60 calls per day) Schedule and dispatch technicians using ServiceTitan Coordinate service requests and communicate updates with customers Support project and operational teams with administrative tasks Assist with generating and tracking reports for customers and counties Maintain spreadsheets and perform data entry with strong attention to detail Create and issue purchase orders as needed Monitor work orders, schedules, and service completion status Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Collaborate closely with Project Coordinators, Operations, and Office Management teams Skills required: Customer service, Dispatch, Data entry, Call center, Logistics, Inbound call, Administrative support, Clerical, Schedule appointments Top skills details: Customer service, Dispatch, Data entry, Call center, Logistics, Inbound call, Administrative support, Clerical, Schedule appointments Additional skills and qualifications: Candidates with experience in the following industries are strongly encouraged to apply: Construction HVAC Fire Protection Facilities Management Plumbing Field Services Service-Based Operations Look for candidates who have: Dispatch or scheduling experience 50+ inbound calls per day experience ServiceTitan, ServiceTrade, Housecall Pro, FieldEdge, or similar software Construction, HVAC, plumbing, facilities, or service-industry background Strong customer service and organizational skills Experience supporting field technicians or service teams Avoid candidates whose dispatch experience is limited to: Towing companies Pest control services Experience level: Intermediate Level Job type and location: This is a contract position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
