Benefits Analyst Overview The Benefits Analyst will oversee health and welfare programs, ensuring compliance and effective administration. Provide bilingual support (Spanish and English) to employees regarding benefits and leave policies. Support office and craft employees in navigating benefits and leave of absence processes. Contribute to nationwide growth initiatives, including Open Enrollment and increased LOA/ADA requests. Collaborate with HR teams to enhance employee understanding of benefit plans and compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local mandates, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and ACA. Participate in educational webinars to improve employee engagement and knowledge of benefits. Benefits Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties Administer health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Manage leave of absence and job accommodation programs ensuring regulatory compliance. Provide expert consultation on benefits and LOA/ADA inquiries to employees and managers. Monitor compliance with multi-state and federal requirements for benefits and leave programs. Facilitate funding requests and reconciliation processes for benefits programs. Conduct monthly webinars to educate employees on benefits and leave policies. Collaborate with HR teams to improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Benefits Analyst Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; certifications like SHRM-CP/SCP preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in benefits administration, with preference for 4 years. Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory for effective communication. Proficiency in Workday and Google Suite tools is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and multi-state compliance requirements.
