Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Summary Steves & Sons, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with advanced mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. As a senior member of the maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring maximum equipment uptime, leading preventive maintenance initiatives, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across the facility. Key Responsibilities Diagnoses, troubleshooting, and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment Perform and lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs (PMs) Install, modify, and optimize machinery and production equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Maintain and troubleshoot: Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Conveyor systems, gearboxes, and drive systems Motor controls (low and high voltage) Perform welding and fabrication for equipment repair and improvement Support automation systems, including PLCs (Allen Bradley, Automation Direct) Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track work orders and maintenance schedules Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Mentor and support junior maintenance technicians as needed Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies Qualifications & Requirements 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong expertise in: Mechanical systems and power transmission Electrical systems and motor controls Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding and fabrication Experience with PLCs, automation, and controls troubleshooting preferred Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach Ability to work independently and in a team environment Flexibility to work extended hours or respond to urgent maintenance needs Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery and industrial equipment Ability to work in varying temperatures (heat/cold) and stand for extended periods May require lifting, climbing, and working in tight or elevated spaces Benefits $300 Bi-weekly Attendance Bonus 401(k) with Company Match Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance (including MetLife) Paid Vacation and Holidays $250 Employee Referral Bonus Employee Discount Programs Career Growth and Development Opportunities About Steves & Sons, Inc.
