We are seeking a Sr. General Accountant to support our client's team.Location: Aliso Viejo, CAThe hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $38.94 – $49.13 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 6 monthsFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMJob Summary:Support inventory cost/transaction accounting and international subsidiary accountingManage inventory and COGS for the monthly close, including journal entries and account reconciliationsCoordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close for international subsidiaries, including reclassification and accrual entriesPrepare warranty and inventory reserves, and cost of sales reclassification entriesAssist with development of standard costs and analyze cost/margin variancesSupport annual physical inventory counts and ERP adjustmentsAssist with consolidated financial statements and departmental expense reportingServe as SME for general accounting processes; provide training to junior staffContribute to audits, tax prep, and monthly/quarterly/annual financial reportingRequirements:5+ years of relevant accounting experienceStrong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliationsAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for large data setsExperience with inventory-related financial transactions and reportingKnowledge of Expandable or similar ERP softwareExperience with external financial auditsStrong analytical, time management, and attention-to-detail skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferredEqual Opportunity Employer: Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
