Clinical Athletic Trainer - Soccer Coverage
Architech Sports and Physical Therapy
About Architech Sports and Physical Therapy At Architech Sports, we specialize in Athletic Performance Therapy, helping athletes return to sport stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for long-term performance. Our care model goes beyond treating pain and focuses on sports rehabilitation, performance-based care, and athlete development. We are here to serve our athletes, our community, and each other. If you are looking to work in a fun, collaborative, and driven environment where growth is supported and your work makes a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our multidisciplinary team of clinicians to coordinate and provide sports medicine services to restore function, prevent disability, and help athletes reach their maximum potential. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative setting, provides expert care, and is committed to continuous professional growth. If you are ready to make an impact, work alongside a team of professionals, and contribute to the health and success of athletes, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Athletic Training Services Provide clinical athletic training services within Architech Sports & Physical Therapy clinic in Pineville, NC — primarily during the offseason (summer/winter). Provide athletic training services to Charlotte Soccer Academy's ECNL programs, including support during practice and games. Perform clinical injury evaluations, assessments of function, and follow standardized clinical practices in diagnostic reasoning and medical decision‑making. Provide rehabilitation and reconditioning strategies, taping/wrapping, and bracing for preventative and protective treatment. Determine return‑to‑play standards for athletes and the active population. Maintain daily records of treatment logs, injury reports, and medical inventory management. Assist with planning, organizing, and compliance of departmental policies, including setting up necessary medical supplies and equipment for practices and games. Work within the Sports Medicine Team concept and accept assignments based on department need and organizational needs, providing medical coverage as needed. Community Engagement Promote an open atmosphere of communication and engage with staff/visitors from a variety of developmental and sociocultural backgrounds. Engage with the community by attending and providing care at soccer events, fostering relationships with athletes, coaches, and families. Clinical Expertise & Development Ensure the implementation of Emergency Action Plans for each venue and provide emergency care when necessary. Maintain current training on concussion education, management, and care, including acute management of the cervical spine. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in athletic training practices through continuing education opportunities. Work Schedule Support night and weekend coverage for Charlotte Soccer Academy's ECNL programs during the school year calendar, averaging 25 weekends offering coverage annually. During December and summer, provide a higher presence in the Architech clinic for direct care, focusing on patient rehabilitation and training — schedule will align with standard clinical hours during this season.
