P&C actuarial internship in Omaha, Nebraska, within Markel's Actuarial Department. You'll gain summer exposure to pricing, reserving, and actuarial operations while working with experienced actuaries on projects that inform business decisions.
Requirements:
Must have:
- US work authorization required, no visa sponsorship
Strongly preferred:
- College juniors graduating in May 2028 or recently graduated
- Strong academic performance (GPA 3.5+)
- Majoring in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills
- Proficient in data tools and technology
- Enthusiastic about the property and casualty insurance industry
