Shifts: Full Time, 36 hrs/week, Monday through Friday, with varied start times


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Post Anesthetic Care for a travel assignment in Alexandria, VA. This role requires flexibility to float across PreOp, ECT, and GI Endoscopy units while primarily operating in a fast-paced PACU environment. Candidates should possess a strong background in perianesthesia care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU Post Anesthetic Care

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in PreOp, Phase 1, and Phase 2 recovery
• Float between PreOp, ECT, and GI Endoscopy units as needed
• Administer care for inpatient and outpatient surgical patients
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, covering weekends and holidays
• Maintain compliance with ECG exam administration on Day 2 of orientation

Requirements of the RN - PACU Post Anesthetic Care

• Active RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or active multistate compact (NLC) license
• Minimum 2 years PACU RN experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required (AHA)
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
