General Medical Oncology Position | Cottonwood, AZ

Our organization is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist to become part of a well-established oncology program in Cottonwood, Arizona. We are committed to fostering a collaborative, patient-focused atmosphere that enhances cancer treatment through innovative research, evidence-based practices, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Join a well-established general medical oncology practice.
• Receive support from experienced Advanced Practice Providers.
• Participate in a 1:5 call rotation.
• Manage an average patient load of 15-20 individuals daily.
• Engage in a multidisciplinary care model that provides comprehensive oncology services.
• Work alongside dedicated support teams, including Nurse Navigators, Clinical Oncology Pharmacists, Certified Mastectomy Fitters, Registered Dietitians, Oncology Social Workers, Genetics Specialists, and Lymphedema Specialists.
• Obtain a faculty appointment with our organization, with academic rank based on experience.
• Participate in clinical and translational research in partnership with the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), located in downtown Phoenix. Candidates with funded research initiatives are encouraged to apply and contribute to the broader research efforts.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.
• Must possess or be eligible for an Arizona Medical License prior to the start date.
