Industrial Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

Location: Fort Mill

Hours: Dayshift | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Mon–Fri) + On-call rotation

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant machinery (mechanical, electrical up to 480V, pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC).

• Rebuild pumps, gearboxes, blowers, vacuum systems, and slide gates.

• Diagnose electrical issues (motor starters, relays, fuses, safety circuits).

• Log work orders in CMMS, manage parts, and strictly follow LOTO/OSHA safety standards.

What We Need

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Skills with 480V 3-phase electrical systems and reading schematics.

• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Identify functional failures through trouble shooting methods and make decisions to replace or  rebuild failed component. 

• Routine maintenance on all equipment: Inspections, filters change, oil change, grease, and  document findings. 

• Trouble shoot electrical components motor starters, solid state relays, overloads, fuses, safety  circuits, motors, solenoids. 

• Pneumatic equipment trouble shooting CNC equipment, dust-collection & blow-down devices,  solenoids. 

• CNC Router troubleshooting, repairs, and programming. 

• Powder conveying system; Vacuum pumps, sheave alignment, drive belts, level sensors. • Communicate with management and corporate maintenance and management team. • General mechanical Experience

• Maintain awareness of new systems and techniques in order to upgrade existing equipment  and processes 

• Follow safety procedures and work carefully at all times to prevent injuries and avoid damage  to company property 

• Effectively communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers to achieve company  goals and objectives 

• Use of proper lock-out procedure and personal protective equipment. 

• Responds to emergency breakdown and repairs which may occur outside operating hours •

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• Industrial Maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred)
• CNC Maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred)
• 3 Phase Motors (3 years of experience is preferred)
• 480 volt experience (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Forklift Operation (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Mechanical/Electrical Prints (3 years of experience is preferred)
