Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues by interpreting imaging and lab results
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety and positioning, and passing instruments seamlessly
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a primary emphasis on surgery are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification required
• Valid BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant required
