Occupational Therapist School Setting in Laurinburg, NC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in school-based OT settings, working with PreK-8th grade students
• Competency in home health OT practices and general healthcare OT
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective treatment for diverse pediatric populations
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with staff and families
• Flexibility, organization, and a commitment to evidence-based practice

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to meet IEP goals for students across PreK-8th grades
• Conduct assessments and document findings, progress, and recommendations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Consult with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom environments and routines
• Involve families in therapy goals, providing training and resources as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
• Provide services in both traditional school and home-based settings as required
