CHAS Health's comprehensive compensation package* includes:Annual milestone bonus for all eligible employees! $500 for every year worked, up to $5,000.Robust health coverage with employer-offered medical, dental, vision, long-term care, and life insurance.401(k) with up to 6% employer match for a retirement plan that invests in your future.Work/life balance —enjoy more than six (6) weeks of paid time off (PTO) annually for full-time employees, to recharge and refresh.Tuition assistance and student loan repayment —let CHAS Health pay for your education!Up to $7,500 for childcare annually through reimbursement, to help you balance work and family life.CME and license fee reimbursement —we've got you covered.* Offered benefits dependent upon employee eligibility and criteriaJob DescriptionPurpose of Job:Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by coordinating service line staff to ensure patient access is maximized while maintaining appropriate staffing ratios as follows:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborates with operational leadership in creating and editing staff schedules.Works with department supervisor(s) to support time off requests.Coordinates with Clinic Administrators to ensure effective communication and patient access.Manages timesheets for all staff in assigned service lines.Creates and maintains positive staff relations, communication, effective care, and a focus on CHAS Health's mission.Updates appropriate staffing software for clinic departments.Builds and applies templates for clinical staff in assigned service lines.Provides planned and same day coordination of staffing resources for assigned service lines.Maintains records and statistics to improve continuity and increase efficiency.Ensures timely decision making by evaluating systemwide resources and access.Completes a variety of assignments simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.Qualifications:Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in business, health administration or related field required. Experience with health care staffing and operational metrics preferred.Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication. Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Demonstrated competency in computer and related software, including Word and Excel required; experience with electronic health record is preferred. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle high stress and changing priorities. Valid drivers' license and insurance required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, use vision, stand, sit and be mobile. The employee will use hands to finger, handle or feel. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day.
