Electrical CAD Technician

Contract-to-Hire Electrical CAD Technician – Fort Worth, TX Pay Range: $25–$27/hr ESPO Engineering Corp. is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician for a contract‑to‑hire opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This role supports multidisciplinary teams of designers, detailers, and engineers in producing high‑qualityMes electrical drawings and documentation. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically curious, and eager to grow within an engineering‑focused environment. Responsibilities Assist technical teams in developing computer‑aided drafting and design solutions for a variety of projects. Prepare and revise engineering drawings of basic electrical components from sketches, layouts, or redlines. Assist with the preparation and revision of plot drawings. Ensure all work complies with company, client, and discipline‑specific drafting standards and procedures. Support drafting design and documentation efforts across multiple projects. Utilize standard drafting and detailing software to complete assigned tasks. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to drafting quality and efficiency. Research project‑related issues and recommend solutions to basic design problems. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable standards. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in CADD, Drafting, or a related field required. Minimum of 1 year of relevant drafting or CAD experience . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical abilities. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and motivated to grow professionally within the field.
