This role is ideal for someone eager to advance into a Designer or even leadership-level responsibility over time. Responsibilities: Support the development of new engineering drawings and modify existing ones based on layouts or redlines. Utilize ANSI standard drafting practices throughout assigned work. Contribute to drafting and design tasks on electrical substation projects. Assist on project-related or ad hoc drafting assignments as directed. Perform additional tasks as assigned by project leadership. Required Qualifications & Experience: Associate’s degree in CAD or a related field, or a specialized CAD certificate. 2+ years of drafting experience in a technical or engineering environment. Ability to learn and apply technical standards quickly. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience working on utility or substation-related projects. Exposure to transmission and distribution or related infrastructure industries. Familiarity with industry-specific software beyond basic CAD tools.
