Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care

Registered Nurse – Neurology

Must have CA RN license in hand within 2 weeks (pending state license not accepted). Minimum 1 year RN experience. EPIC experience highly preferred. Prior neurology and infusion experience highly preferred.

Provide nursing care in an outpatient neurology setting. Administer infusion therapies and medications as prescribed. Conduct telephone triage, medication reconciliation, and refills. Educate patients and families regarding conditions and treatments. Manage prior authorizations and insurance-related workflows. Interpret lab results and facilitate pharmacy communication.

References: 2 references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required prior to start. Pre-start modules are required (average ~16 hours; >20 hours requires PM approval); completion is tracked. Agency/client language indicates travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal could affect assignment/hours.
