About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its dynamic team. The CFO will be a strategic thought partner, playing a vital role in shaping the organization's financial future. This includes overseeing all financial operations, from audits and contract administration to real estate development projects and related funding transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of the financial strategy, providing guidance on financial matters, and ensuring the organization remains financially sound. The CFO will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of forward-thinking leadership, continuous improvement, and cross-departmental collaboration. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a strong commitment to the organization's mission, deep familiarity with multiple funding sources, and in-depth knowledge of financial regulations. The role requires a leader with strong critical-thinking skills, the ability to manage time effectively, and a proven track record of ethical business practices. The CFO will be expected to embrace change, lead the implementation of financial systems, and build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for an MBA or master's degree, and a minimum of 10 years' financial leadership experience, including significant experience in a mid- to large-sized nonprofit organization.
