CT Technologist | PRN | Sutherland Cardiology OP Diagnostic Center

Overview CT Tech II responsible for operating imaging equipment and performing procedures for a specific patient population at the CVOPD in the Sutherland Cardiology Diagnostic Center. Demonstrates professional conduct and supports the radiology team. Responsibilities Perform quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods. Assist in the development of others through guidance and teaching. Promote professional practice of all members of the radiological services team. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and policies. Effectively manage resources such as supplies and equipment. Plan work and complete job responsibilities efficiently and productively. Demonstrate professional work behavior and excellent customer service in all interactions. Perform other job functions as required. Qualifications Technical degree or diploma in radiology. 1–3 years of experience as a CT technician. Licenses & Certifications Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography (ARRT). BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (American Heart Association). Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Effective communication with internal and external customers. Demonstrated clinical competencies in radiographic imaging equipment and procedures. Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, PACS). Physical Demands Climbing, pushing, standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently. Requires close visual acuity and good balance and coordination. Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact; exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
