Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long Term Care team. The successful candidate will support a small, rural facility and deliver quality care to our residents through collaborative teamwork and compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor and assess residents' health status, reporting any changes to the nursing leadership team.
• Catalyze a positive living environment by fostering effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Educate residents and their families regarding health issues and care plans.
• Document care and assessments accurately using PointClick Care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• PointClick Care experience is necessary.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Must be flexible in scheduling to accommodate day and night shifts.

Work Schedule

The position involves rotating shifts of 12 hours, including both daytime and night-time hours, as part of a schedule that builds on a Saturday through Friday work week. Weekend work is required.
