Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Badge Check Patrol in Venice, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while collaborating with a reliable, agile, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and responding public service personnel while supporting a welcoming and orderly property environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
