Store Manager, Ardmore, PA

Responsibilities Drive business to achieve store sales and profitability goals, train and develop a team to ensure operational excellence. Create a memorable in‑store environment and inspire the team to deliver top‑level customer service. Show best practices in customer service, sales generation and outreach. Elevate customer service across store appearance, merchandise display, product placement, story layout, and selling procedures. Consistently exceed total store goals and KPIs set by the company. Recruit, hire and retain a high‑performing management and associate store team. Direct and supervise daily staff activities. Provide recognition and constructive feedback to encourage growth and development. Develop internal talent to prepare future leaders. Ensure compliance with company standards for merchandising, visual presentation, safety, functionality, security and all relevant regulations. Maintain clienteling processes and ensure associate participation. Master company history, brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle and communicate to sales team and customers to support sales. Set standards for a neat, organized stockroom, storage and shipping/receiving area for safe product access. Adhere to operational processes, policies and functionality related to personnel, merchandise, security, loss prevention and facility maintenance. Partner with corporate retail to build community relationships and events that drive traffic and sales. Support store operations by submitting personnel paperwork, preparing reports, and monitoring sales receipts and cash. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with corporate to replenish product and communicate needs. Manage inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Perform other duties as required to support the business. Qualifications College degree in business or related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience, with 3+ years in a supervisory/management role in a customer‑service focused retail apparel environment. Strong computer skills – proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with POS systems, inventory management functions, retail merchandising and visual concepts. Proven ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and act quickly to drive sales results; interpret policies to resolve customer and employee issues. Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and oral communication, and stellar time‑management skills. Additional Requirements Lift or move up to ~50 pounds frequently. Frequent bending/stooping/kneeling required. Occasional ladder climbing. Routine standing for shift duration (up to 8 hours).
