Bachelors requiredMinimum 8 years experienceThe Senior Cloud Engineer will serve as a technical expert supporting applications and other unit mission needs. The engineer will lead the design, implementation, and management of hybrid IT environments leveraging AWS cloud services and on premises Windows Server infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Lead engineering, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications hosted in AWS and on-premises Windows Server environmentsProvide O&M support, including patching, hardening, system upgrades, and routine maintenanceDeliver infrastructure support during core and non-core hours as needed to meet mission requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Engineers, DBAs, and Security Engineers, to ensure system compliance, reliability, and securitySupport application development, deployment, and lifecycle activities in coordination with government and contractor teamsRequired Skills and Experience:Strong expertise in AWS services (S3, EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch) and Windows Server administrationExperience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, DevSecOps practices, and auto-scaling solutionsAbility to independently develop cloud optimization strategies and maximize AWS capabilitiesExperience with full SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)Strong analytical, technical, documentation, communication, and planning skillsAbility to work independently, identify system improvements, and support team growthMinimum 7+ years of relevant experience
