ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Croatian Linguistic Lead Tester to join a long-term project in Austin, Texas. As a Linguistic Lead Tester, you’ll help bring high-quality Croatian content to life and ensure it feels natural, accurate, and polished for end users. The Onsite Lead Tester is responsible for the overall quality of their language at an account level, as well as the main point of contact for Language Leads. This role is ideal for someone with native-level fluency in Croatian, fluency in English, and strong communication skills. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with customers and stakeholders at different levels, can provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, and confidently present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and linguists. The ideal candidate also enjoys supporting and training others, sharing knowledge, and helping the team grow, and is available to work full-time.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing linguistic tasks Coordination of the linguistic team Reviewing copies and giving feedback to testers Sharing feedback received from the client Supporting testers in understanding corrections resulting from the arbitration process Acting as liaison for terminology, style issues, product features and questions Supporting the onboarding process of new testers Identifying linguistic-specific training needs for the language Creating, maintaining, and delivering linguistic training programs Quality management planning and execution Linguistic assets management Completing assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner

REQUIREMENTS
