This role will be the first dedicated HR hire on the ground in our New Austin hub, with a primary focus on driving full-cycle recruitment for local teams, while also managing essential HR operations and office support. Workiz is looking for a hands-on HR professional to coordinate People operations in Austin—from hiring top talent to onboarding, employee experience, and local office support. What You’ll Do Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus – ~80%) Own End-to-End Recruiting: Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for roles across our customer-facing and operational teams. Source candidates, run phone screens, manage coordination, deliver offers, and drive onboarding. Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions Partner with Hiring Managers: Work closely with managers to understand team needs, build strong pipelines, and provide a proactive, data-informed recruiting strategy. Champion Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate touchpoint reflects our culture and values, with timely, clear, and personalized communication. Drive Employer Branding: Represent Workiz in the Austin market—build our presence through social media, job boards, and direct outreach. Optimize TA Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recruitment workflows, tools, and reporting. Manage Vendors: Oversee relationships with external recruiting partners and agencies as needed. HR Operations & Office Ownership (Secondary Focus – ~20%) Local HR Support: Be the primary HR contact in Austin, handling employee lifecycle support, basic employee relations, HR documentation, and compliance tasks in partnership with the global team. New Hire Onboarding: Partner with managers and the enablement team to deliver a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience. Office Experience & Culture: Maintain a functional and welcoming office environment; coordinating team events, employee milestone celebrations, and engagement activities. Admin & Coordination: Provide administrative support across HR functions, including meticulous employee record management and collaborative assistance with IT and Finance. Compensation and Benefits Salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per annum. REQUIREMENTS Ideally, we are looking for: 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, in a fast-paced, tech-driven company - a must. Hands-on experience sourcing talent using LinkedIn and other professional sourcing tools. Proven track record managing hiring processes across multiple levels and departments. Solid understanding of end-to-end HR operations and administrative best practices. Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with candidates and stakeholders at all levels. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Passion for creating a great employee experience and supporting inclusive, employee-first initiatives (Preferred). This will be an advantage: Experience with specific tools such as Comeet, Rippling, Personio, LinkedIn Recruiter, or HireEZ (Advantage). Experience working in an agile, fast-paced start-up environment FSM and/or SaaS experience. **This is a hybrid role working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in our Austin office and Monday and Friday working remotely.
