Bud's Goods & Provisions Sales AssociateRequirements:All candidates MUST be age 21 or over and successfully complete a background check.How you will make an impact:Ensure each guest feels comfortable by greeting and checking them in a timely manner and accurately performing transactions through the POS systemMaintain an advanced understanding of all products to dispense cannabis and cannabis products that are tailored to each individual guest Take time to educate guests on the varieties of cannabis and cannabis-infused products Actively listen to each guest to provide the highest possible level of serviceA passion for, and deep understanding of, cannabis and being a part of a bigger picture to help and care for people Maintain a clean, safe, and well merchandised store environmentAssist as needed in inventory receiving, management, labeling, packaging, and re-stockingCore CompetenciesEffective in delivering a truly distinctive and hospitable guest experienceA profound understanding of the required procedures to ensure that Bud's Goods & Provisions remains in compliance with all local, Department of Health and Cannabis Control Commission regulationsAn enthusiastic self-starter who can prioritize tasks, assist others and achieve maximum efficiencySkilled in Microsoft Office applications and moderately tech-savvy-to troubleshoot minor issuesProficient cash handling, math skills and attention to detailCustomer-oriented with outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsStrong community awareness with the ability to connect with a diverse population Behavior management skills including the ability to remain effective and levelheaded under pressureMultilingual a PlusJob DutiesDispensing cannabis and cannabis products following strict guidelines to remain in compliance with Cannabis Control Commission regulations at all timesBecoming well-versed in Metrc and in using a point of sale (POS) to complete transactionsHaving an advanced expressive knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products and all the different consumption methods and storage requirements of all products on the menuAccurately making change for guests and following money handling protocols to manage a cash till and POS stationProviding upbeat, engaging and efficient assistance to guests on the sales floor to maintain the flow of guests while providing optimal guest serviceKeeping the sales floor clean and organizedAssisting with the opening and closing proceduresAwareness of and communication about inventory levels and ensuring consistent availability to guestsPerforming additional tasks as directed by the Retail Management teamOngoing availability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business including morning, midday and evening shifts as well as weekends and holidaysAbility to stand for long hours, up to a 10-hour shiftEffectively work in a retail or hospitality setting by having at least 2 years of experienceWork successfully and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Mindful of guest flow and communicate any issues to Retail ManagementSafety awareness at all timesAbility to work outside in various weather conditions as neededAll employees must be at least 21 years of age and pass a comprehensive background check#ENGHP
