Warehouse Manager Bowing Green, OH, US Senior Equipment Foreman – Warehouse Manager Role Summary Oversee daily equipment operations and manage the inventory and storage of construction materials on a large project site warehouse. Key Responsibilities Manage one or more equipment trade labor specialties within assigned operations. Oversee deliveries and pick‑ups of equipment and material to and from job sites, vendors, and other Blue Hat Operations centers, using company and external carriers. Determine and oversee the distribution schedule for local Blue Hat Operations, including job site deliveries/returns and incoming equipment and material orders. Maintain all equipment and inventory fleet, coordinating internal mechanics or external repair facilities. Respond promptly to calls from internal and external customers and vendors. Document equipment movement, repair, maintenance, operational costs, and employee timesheets accurately. Ensure DOT compliance by maintaining records, driver logs, and driving records in accordance with regulations. Keep delivery and service vehicles well maintained and clean. Organize and maintain warehouse facility. Assist with inventory and fleet cycle counts and controls. Provide job‑chargeable repair recommendations to Blue Hat Operations. Recommend appropriate inventory levels and equipment readiness to Blue Hat Operations. Recommend fleet/inventory purchases and rotations to Blue Hat Operations. Identify and alert management about policy, operating procedures, or legal issues affecting Blue Hat Operations. Participate in continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, suggesting solutions, and implementing improvements. Promote the company’s safety culture, investigate incidents, and retrain staff as needed. Make operational decisions supporting broader financial goals and constraints. Contribute to annual budget development for Blue Hat Operations. Coordinate with internal staff to ensure accurate and timely billing information. Use operational reports to make business decisions and suggest initiatives aligned with strategic objectives. Establish and communicate work schedules based on prioritization. Conduct quality control checks of all equipment in scope of work. Schedule and provide training for drivers, mechanics, and operators as required. Ensure all maintenance, usage, and repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Operate a forklift or other distribution equipment. Perform work accurately and completely. Follow up on inquiries in a timely manner. Deliver intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Show intermediate proficiency in MS Office. Understand internal equipment management tools. Identify common construction materials and equipment. Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions. Possess comprehensive knowledge of equipment rental operations, including warehouse organization, equipment storage, maintenance, repair, and order fulfillment. Build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally. Education & Experience High School diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required). 8+ years of equipment operations experience (Required). 3+ years of people management experience (Preferred). Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement. Working Environment Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Periods of overnight travel may be required. Exposure to extreme conditions (hot or cold) may occur. Frequent activities: Standing, walking, lifting, climbing, bending, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling, sitting. Occasional activity: Sitting, viewing computer screen.
