The dental receptionist will support the operations of a general dentistry practice, ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent customer service. Reporting directly to the lead dentist, this role involves managing patient appointments, handling phone communications, verifying insurance, and assisting with billing. The receptionist will efficiently manage daily administrative tasks in a setting with fewer than 10 patients per day, contributing to a welcoming and organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Greet and check-in patients
- Handle incoming phone calls professionally
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Assist with patient billing and payments
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in dental office administration
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
