Desktop Support Analyst

*Position Overview*
We are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Analyst to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users in a professional services environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals, delivering exceptional customer service while resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.
* Manage and prioritize support requests through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
* Perform ticket triage, issue categorization, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
* Administer user accounts within Active Directory, including:
* Adding and removing users
* User provisioning and deprovisioning
* Password resets and account unlocks
* Security group management
* Access and permission assignments

* Configure and deploy workstations, software applications, and peripheral devices.
* Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.
* Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical procedures.
* Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
* Deliver white-glove customer service to attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
* 2 to 4 years of IT support experience in a Help Desk, Desktop Support, PC Technician, or similar role.
* Hands-on experience working within a ticketing system and managing support queues.
* Strong experience with Active Directory administration, including user management, permissions, and group administration.
* Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and standard enterprise software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
* Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work effectively under pressure.
* Experience supporting users in a professional services, legal, or highly client-facing environment is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills
* Experience supporting law firms, attorneys, paralegals, or legal staff.
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies.
* Knowledge of workstation imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management tools.
* Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Top Skills
* 2-4 years of IT Support experience (Help Desk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician).
* Experience with ticketing systems, ticket triage, and incident management.
* Active Directory user provisioning, account management, permissions, and group administration.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills supporting legal professionals and executive-level users.
*Job Type & Location*
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
