Food Service Worker

Position: Food Service Worker (Part Time) Location: Groton Hours: up to 19 hours per week Starting Rate: $18.00/hr; Position Range: $18.00–$19.00/hr Job Summary The Food Service Worker supports daily kitchen operations through food preparation, serving, and restocking while maintaining a clean, safe environment. A key component of this role is providing exemplary customer service to our seniors—answering questions and assisting with meal service. Additionally, this position handles cashiering as a primary responsibility. Required Qualifications High school diploma and at least two years of satisfactory experience in a food service facility. ServSafe certification (or equivalent) required. Ability to read and follow directions, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude toward customer service. Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial food service. Familiarity with health codes. Computer skills. Physical Demands Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
