Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to deliver cohesive and integrated mental health services, ensuring clients receive holistic support.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, demonstrating a calm and effective response to emergencies.

• Engage in psychoeducation efforts, equipping clients and families with the knowledge of mental health issues, therapeutic strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including those from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to understand and apply evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities tailored to diverse populations.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, emphasizing culturally sensitive approaches.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, along with the capability to respond effectively under pressure.

• Technological proficiency, particularly with EHR systems and related software.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
