OT - Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist - Outpatient/Acute Care/LTC

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 5x8 Hour schedule (08:00 - 17:00)

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive therapy services in an outpatient setting, acute care, and long-term care. The clinician will evaluate patients' needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to promote patient progress.
• Document patient progress and modify treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Active Alaska Occupational Therapy license.
