Assistant Project Manager I (Limited-Term) Location: Athens, GA Salary: $50,000.00+ Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Posting Date: 06/04/2026 Responsibilities Assist OUA staff in managing capital projects, providing support across all project phases. Support detailed reviews of contractor applications, invoices, cost estimates, and proposals. Assist in preparing and tracking contracts and proposals. Attend design and construction meetings, take meeting notes, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items. Support project managers on punch list follow‑up and close‑out documentation. Prepare presentation materials and communicate project status to stakeholders. Contribute to process improvement initiatives for business office workflows. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent. Knowledge of accounting and financial principles. Some knowledge of design and construction principles. Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to prioritize, track, and follow through on tasks. Ability to learn new software related to project management and financial transactions. Experience in project management or construction administration preferred but not required. Physical Demands Sitting for long periods, visiting active construction sites with rough terrain, varied weather, and driving as needed.
