A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract position beginning mid-October and concluding mid-January. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Michigan
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; those completing CFY are also encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Experience in school settings or working with school-aged children is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 60 students
• Facilitate group sessions in 2 self-contained classrooms, addressing diverse communication needs
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals in the classroom
• Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and documentation requirements
• Attend relevant meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team to support student success
