Desired Skills and Background:

• Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience or training in school-based speech-language services, particularly with elementary populations
• Strong interpersonal skills—responsive, communicative, and able to foster effective relationships with students, staff, and families
• Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and willingness to be coached for continuous improvement
• Active Michigan SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date

What You'll Do:

• Provide speech and language therapy services for an elementary caseload (K-5), developing individualized plans tailored to students’ needs
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop treatment goals for students with communication difficulties
• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to share progress and integrate therapy goals in the classroom setting
• Maintain detailed records, write comprehensive reports, and meet all compliance and documentation requirements
• Engage in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as a valued contributor
