Job Title

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Communicate goals and expectations to employees
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Trains and manages production employees on the assigned shift
• Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
• Oversees production operations on assigned shift
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment
• Troubleshoots issues that arise
• Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems
• Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures
• Ensures paperwork is completed correctly
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum Years of Experience: Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.

Physical Requirement and Work Environment

• Walking Up to 8 hours a day
• Standing Up to 8 hours a day
• Lifting Ability to 75lbs from floor to waist
• Lifting overhead with 25lbs
• Work Environment Warehouse/Plant environment
• Typically, 6:30a 3p Monday Friday (occasional weekend)
• Temperature controlled
• Equipment Computer/Various Technology
