Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Denver, Colorado, NP/PA Urgent Care Job Clinical Role

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid APP experience

• Urgent care and/or emergency department experience strongly preferred

• Must be comfortable seeing 3-4 patients per hour

• Must have an active, unrestricted Colorado license

• Active DEA required

• DOT certification is a strong plus

• Must be willing to float across 9 clinic locations throughout the Denver metro area

• Provider will be assigned to one clinic per day - no intra-day travel required

• Must have strong procedural skills, including:

  • Laceration repair/suturing

  • Incision and drainage (I&D)

  • Ingrown toenail removal

  • Splinting

  • Other typical urgent care procedures

• Must be comfortable with X-ray interpretation

• Must be comfortable with 12-lead EKG interpretation

• EMR: Experity

• Experity experience preferred, but not required
