Project Manager

A reputed US IT Staffing Company based in the US, RICEFW Technologies. Overview For now this is a temporary full time 4 month assignment with possibility for extension. Only local candidates will be considered and in-person interviews will be required. It is important that the selected candidate can commit to the duration of the assignment. Responsibilities Blend of business analysis and project management work. Finish implementing a project to go live with a new cloud-based financial transparency and analytics tool. Assist another PM with requirements collection for a new image capture solution in conjunction with an upgrade to the content management system. Ensure ongoing collaboration with stakeholders and provide leadership and guidance to IT project teams. Lead adherence to the State project management policies and standards. Qualifications Project Manager role requires planning, execution, and finalization of projects within defined timelines and budget. Experience coordinating with business/end users to gather input. Experience assisting agency executive management, division directors, and IT staff and leading project tasks and resources. Proficiency with project management tools, reports, templates, mentoring, training, and coaching. Ability to work with agency staff, vendors, and other state agencies as needed. Knowledge of risk management, quality management, change management, change control, and communication. Ability to lead and mentor IT project team members; ensure compliance with project management policies and standards. PMP certification; agile certification preferred.
