Chez Michel is a family owned bakery and cafe in Avon, OH. We are currently seeking to hire two reliable individuals with an open availability between the hours of 6 AM and 5 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Some Sundays may be required, but generally, this position does not work on Sundays or Mondays. Imagine leaving work Saturday afternoon and not having to think about it again until Tuesday morning!
We prepare much of our menu from scratch. This position is part prep cook, part line cook, part baking assistant. You will be making sauces, dips&dressings, deli salads, cafe syrups, meat pies, breakfast casseroles, oven-baked sandwiches, cookies, brownies, and variety of other items. Experience in a kitchen is strongly preferred, but all essential skills are trainable for an otherwise excellent candidate. The entire staff is responsible for dish washing.
This position also has the capacity to collect tips. Shifts usually run ~7AM to ~3PM, plus or minus an hour or so.
$37 - $42 per hour
