Job Details Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse Type: Travel nursing assignment Location: Clarkston, Washington Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 09/21/2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour days Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Openings: 2 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270 Job Requirements Active Washington RN license required Experience in Med/Surg , PCU , telemetry , or acute care nursing preferred Ability to flex across departments as needed in a fast-paced hospital setting Strong knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and isolation precautions Proficient in accurate nursing documentation and timely completion of physician orders Strong communication skills with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for adult medical-surgical and progressive care unit patients Assess patient needs and provide education using effective teaching methods Maintain patient safety through preventive measures and appropriate restraint practices Operate and troubleshoot equipment used in PCU , telemetry , and Med/Surg areas Follow infection control standards and maintain standard precautions at all times Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and completely Ensure physician orders are completed in a timely manner Deliver thorough shift handoff reports and communicate clearly with the care team Report critical lab values promptly according to policy Maintain and restock emergency carts, room supplies, and unit resources Looking for Washington nursing jobs or your next travel nurse opportunity?
