Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit is responsible for providing specialized care for patients with cardiac monitoring needs. The nurse will assess, plan, and implement patient care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret patient cardiac telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding their health conditions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Stroke/Neuro experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Passing EKG test required at the time of submittal.
• First to float as needed to similar units, including potential assignments to other NorthShore facilities.
