Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Mon - Fri Hours per Shift: 10 hours, 6:30 AM - 5 PM Experience: Minimum 24 months of current operating room experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact multistate license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - Current operating room experience - Circulating and scrub experience preferred - Experience in General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases required - Trauma level II experience required - EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years required - No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience. Candidates must be capable of both circulating and scrubbing functions. Preferred experience includes General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases. Additional experience in Client, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular cases is highly valued. Experience in a level I Trauma center is highly preferred, while level II experience is required. Candidates must have experience with EPIC electronic medical systems within the last 3 years. This position will require working 1-2 of the three upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. On-call responsibilities include up to one overnight call per week and three weekends within the contract duration.
