Manufacturing Engineer 2

Oversee planning and implementation of business expansion and improvement projects nationwide.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaise with supervisor and executive management to develop, organize and schedule office/lab expansions,
procurement of new locations and other similar activities
• Attend on site to inspect potential new premises, meet with building owners/landlords, evaluate buildings against
needs and present detailed reports to management
• Work with contractors/developers to ensure understanding of scope of work and company needs and expectations
• Provide detailed status reports to management including projected timelines, difficulties encountered, budget
overruns or any other similar issues
• Schedule department employees to ensure job expectations are met/exceeded
• Manage and oversee warehouse operations and staff
• Other similar related activities required by operational needs or assigned by supervisor

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related area
• 5+ years of experience in industry
• 2+ years in similar field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong math and analytical/estimating skills
• Considerable knowledge of buildings and general construction practices
• Understanding of state and federal requirements and regulations
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Working Conditions
Mainly field and remote locations with some office work, Frequent travel required, Frequent non-traditional working
hours anticipated

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, Ability to work under high stress circumstances, Available for work during
non-tradition

Required Experience

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related area
• 5+ years of experience in industry
• 2+ years in similar field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong math and analytical/estimating skills
