The LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit, tax‑exempt organization dedicated to supporting justice‑impacted families through transportation, therapy, and technology‑driven programs. Our mission is to remove the physical, financial, and emotional barriers that prevent families from maintaining meaningful connections with incarcerated loved ones, accessing mental health care, or navigating reentry. Founded in 2025, the LoopRoots Foundation operates nationally, with an initial focus on underserved communities in Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California, and Virginia. Our key initiatives include LoopConnect – A ride credit sponsorship platform that provides free or subsidized rides to prison visitation facilities, allowing families to stay in contact during incarceration. LoopTalk – A HIPAA‑compliant virtual therapy program offering trauma‑informed mental health care to justice‑impacted individuals and caregivers, including children. LoopTroop Rideshare Partnership – We collaborate with the LoopTroop Rideshare platform to ensure families have access to safe, reliable, and culturally competent transportation services. All of our programs are offered without discrimination to build a truly supportive ecosystem for families across the U.S. Position Title Youth Reentry and Prevention Program Coordinator (Volunteer, Remote) Organization LoopRoots Foundation Location Remote (U.S.‑based; future expansion support across multiple states) Commitment 20–25 hours per week (Volunteer); potential to transition into a paid role based on funding and performance. Position Overview LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a Youth Reentry and Prevention Program Coordinator to support the development and implementation of a youth‑focused program serving youth with incarcerated parents, youth returning from juvenile detention, and youth at risk of justice system involvement. This role will contribute to building a structured program focused on prevention, stability, and long‑term success, while aligning with LoopRoots’ broader support ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Program Development Assist in designing and implementing the LoopYouth program structure Support creation of SOPs, onboarding materials, and youth engagement workflows Contribute to curriculum development including life skills, financial literacy, emotional wellness, and violence prevention Youth Engagement and Support Assist with outreach to youth and families Support intake and onboarding of program participants Maintain communication and follow‑ups with participants Help ensure a safe and supportive virtual environment Partnerships and Community Outreach Support outreach to schools, juvenile programs, community organizations, and local partners Assist in identifying mentorship and program collaboration opportunities Program Operations Track participant engagement and progress Assist with reporting and program metrics Collaborate with internal teams supporting housing, workforce, transportation, and wellness initiatives Preferred Qualifications Background or coursework in social work, criminal justice, psychology, education, or related field Experience working with youth, at‑risk populations, or justice‑involved individuals preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Passion for community impact and youth development Growth Opportunity Opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the program expands.
