Assistant Maintenance Director

Assistant Maintenance DirectorComplete Building Services is in search of an Assistant Maintenance Director to assist the Maintenance Director at the Pentagon. The (AMD) will assist in overseeing the daily operation and maintenance to ensure the successful completion of service calls, preventative and corrective maintenance, and work orders. The (AMD) will assist the daily upkeep of PM's/SC/CM record and work orders in the MAXIMO work order system. The (AMD) shall also assist in the operation and maintenance of mechanical/HVAC equipment to include mission-critical systems.Responsibilities include:Responsible for the building's systems including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and the supervision of techniciansDevelop and implement plans and schedules to achieve company and department goalsDevelop processes, procedures and standards for the facilities operational performanceRead and understand contract and RFP requirementsCreate an atmosphere of professionalism and mutual support among employeesReview work performance of subordinatesManage and maintain the completion of the facilities scheduled PM's through MAXIMOAssist with environmental complianceAssist with the compliance of local, state, and federal codesPerform other duties as assignedHours: Mon-Fri day shift and OT as neededSalary: $44.73 per hourYou should have:Must possess a minimum of four (4) years experienceMust pass a background checkDemonstrate competency in other disciplines such as HVAC, plumbing and/or electricalStandard HVAC FPIU, CRAC units, AHU, pumps, motos, Chillers, exhaust fans, chemical sensors, VFD water treatmentAbility to plan, organize and meet project deadlinesAbility to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as requiredDemonstrate working knowledge of engineering and building systemsAbility to read, review, and understand blueprintsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamShall be available for emergency contact via cell phone twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a yearShall be available to work flexible hours as required in response to emergency situationsExcellent written, and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, CMMS and project tracking softwareEOE, including disability/veteransWhy you'll love working with us:Complete Building Services is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of buildings/facilities in the commercial and government sectors.
