Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the logistics and customer service teams.

Job Title: Transportation Clerk

Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Pay Range: $23.50

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 pm - 3:00 am

What's the Job?

• Perform various office and administrative duties including handling accounts payable/receivable and collections
• Assist with payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, and maintaining database records
• Audit logs, trip reports, and other DOT reporting requirements to ensure compliance
• Maintain and distribute route books, coordinate daily with drivers, and support driver coverage during vacations and overflow freight
• Manage pallet tracking, driver logs, and driver file DOT requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email communication
• Ability to navigate transportation management systems effectively
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with dealers and drivers
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting
