MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/FRONT DESK FOR PSYCHIATRY OUTPATIENT CLINIC (Davenport, FL)

The Medical receptionist we are looking for must have: 

- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a MEDICAL FRONT DESK setting; a must.

- Experience with Electronic Health (Medical) Records is highly desired.

- 1+ years of coding and medical billing experience is a plus.

- Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening, Criminal History Check, and Professional 

Reference Check.

Job Description:

1. Professional phone skills in answering office phone, scheduling and confirming appointments, triaging Patient Phone Calls

2. Collecting in-office payments, Checking patients in/out, Closing out of the day. 

3. Scanning, faxing and uploading documents, dealing with incoming and outgoing faxes.

4. Verifying insurances and prior authorizations.

5. Assisting Provider as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.

• Complete other clerical duties as assigned

• Maintain stock of forms and office supplies

• Ensure reception area and offices are well maintained, neat and clean
