Assembler I - 1st Shift

Eaton’s CPDI OPS Operations division is currently seeking an Assembler I - 1st Shift - RPO to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The Assembler I role offers a 40-hour work week. Hours are 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. The pay rate for this position is $18.50 per hour. Why work with Eaton? What you’ll do Build sub-assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for uninterruptible power systems (UPS). Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with Raleigh Plant Quality standards and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals. Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations. Provide process and safety improvement ideas. Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using principles of 5S+. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience following SOPs. Experience in product assembly, electrical assembly, maintenance, and/or repair. Basic soldering experience. Basic computer experience, including email, internet navigation and data entry. Position Criteria Can demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility. Can read and interpret standard operating procedures. Can work daily and/or weekend overtime and willing to flex to different areas or local plants as needed. Can lift 50 lbs. Can distinguish colored wiring. Can stand for extended periods of time.
